Best Ice Cream Ever

Persicco, an Ice Cream Shop in Our Neighborhood

Persicco, an ice cream shop in our neighborhood

The other night, after eating dinner with fellow bloggers in BA, we were shown Persicco, which is a store that serves helado. Upon entering Persicco, it reminded me of Cold Stone Creamery. But in this store they didn’t have all the flavors of ice cream that Cold Stone does. Instead, they have 3 main flavors (vanilla, chocolate, and dulce de leche). From these 3 main flavors they have a wide variety of “sub-flavors”, such as chocolate, chocolate de almedRas, chocolate goldoni, chocolate amaRgo, and mousse de chocolate, to name a few. You can combine these flavors however you like to create a delicious mix. I had a small cone of dulce de leche and mousse de chocolate, it had to be the best ice cream I have ever had. They pile it on the cone, so a small here is the equivelant of a medium anywhere in the states. But in case you wanted more, they sell kilos of ice cream, and if you are to lazy to walk down and get it, don’t worry, because they have a fleet of motorbikes (12 to be exact) that will deliver your ice cream right to your casa. If you ever come to BA, you have gotta try this ice cream; it’s the best.

Sounds delicious, Mac. I’ll put it on my list of “must do’s”! Is it very far from your apartment?

Ummm Mac; do they ship? Hope all the Hayes’ are well, it sounds like you are having tons of fun, new experiences! I had a dream about you all last night. I was thinking about you guys yesterday as Nolan was playing with the trains you gave him -“A-chi’s” is what he calls them. He spends hours playing, re-configuring the tracks, making new groups of trains–he loves them.
Hi to everyone from us! xoxoxo
